NEWSWAVE - Blooming Marvellous

CHAOS Radio Season 3 Episode 25

Join our reporter Tom Howe for NEWSWAVE, your weekly rundown of the top stories happening across St Austell and surrounding areas.

In the latest episode, we join Sarah Yeoman, Communications and Media Officer at Cornwall Air Ambulance, to talk about an exciting summer ahead for the life-saving charity.

We check in with Cathy Davies, a professional artist and founder of the Cathy Davies Art School, based in Nanpean, who shares details of an exciting new painting project, and a community fundraising drive to help get her students creating art out and about across Cornwall.

As well as that, we take a trip to the Eden Project to meet Peter Jones, Director of Horticulture, and mark a remarkable moment, as one of their iconic baobab trees has flowered for the very first time.

If all that wasn’t enough, we hear from local friends John and Dave, who are preparing to ride over 200 miles across three counties - on a tandem bike – in aid of Children’s Hospice South West

…and we welcome Miles Baron and Issy-Mae Hunt from The Bingo Association to explore how the classic game is helping to bring people of all ages together.
