NEWSWAVE - Making Space to Flourish

CHAOS Radio Season 3 Episode 24

Join our reporter Tom Howe for NEWSWAVE, your weekly rundown of the top stories happening across St Austell and surrounding areas.

In the latest episode, we join Will Behenna from the Beach Access Project, an initiative working to break down these barriers and make our beautiful coastlines more accessible to all.

We check in with Harbour Housing, who are tackling homelessness their own way - in inflatable orange suits of course. They visited CHAOS on their way to Glastonbury - where their sparking big conversations and showcasing the creativity of their residents.

As well as that, we take a trip to Ladock, to hear how the community are backing a project to restore the village church’s bells, which over recent years have become unsafe to ring.

If all that wasn’t enough, we hear from Louise Fox from Mor Media Charity — the creative force behind the Cornwall Film Festival — who shares how they’ve been bringing people together through film, events, and opportunities for more than 20 years.

…and we welcome Esme Pearson-Brown, of Dirty Feet Theatre Company and the brand-new Teylu Theatre Company, who answers a very important question. What happens when a band of mischievous fairies hijack a festival armed with glitter, junk mushrooms, and an escape room in a caravan?
