NEWSWAVE - From Bikes to Barlow

CHAOS Radio Season 3 Episode 23

Join our reporter Tom Howe for NEWSWAVE, your weekly rundown of the top stories happening across St Austell and surrounding areas.

In the latest episode, we join Jackie Moore, Community Service Lead at CHAOS at Eden, to learn how their supported work project is empowering adults with physical and emotional impairments, and to mark Learning Disability Week.

We check in with Phaedra Perry, Head of South West and South Central at Diabetes UK, about new tools and services to help improving lives and reach underserved communities.

As well as that, we take a trip to Par Running Track to meet Emma Roberts from the Cornwall Bicycle Project who shares how their Limitless Festival is making cycling more accessible — and bringing people together in the process.

If all that wasn’t enough, we hear from Dom Philbin, who joined the crowd to soak up the atmosphere as Gary Barlow returned to Eden Sessions for a sell-out night of singalongs and showstoppers…

…and we welcome Jayme-Lee Zanoncelli, who plays Columbia, to find out what audiences can expect as cult musical classic - The Rocky Horror Show – heads to the Hall for Cornwall.
