NEWSWAVE - High Sheriff of Cornwall

CHAOS Radio Season 3 Episode 10

In the latest episode, we join Sam Galsworthy as he reflects on his year as the High Sheriff of Cornwall - the King’s representative for law and order in the county - responsible for supporting the judiciary, law enforcement, and ceremonial duties.

We check in with Tommy Job, founder and director of Tunes Festivals, as they prepare to bring three major festivals to the shores of St Austell this summer.

As well as that, to celebrate Social Prescribing Day, we take a trip to St Austell Healthcare to meet their head of social prescribing, Jack Watterson, who highlights the importance of connecting people with community-based support to improve their health and wellbeing.

If all that wasn’t enough, we hear from community engagement officers Amy Richardson and Emma Newberry, of Cornwall Community Flood Forum, about the hands-on work being done to help Cornish communities create and implement flood plans.

…and we welcome Michael Hill who, at just 13-years-old, is an exciting up and coming artist, who has made a name for himself busking on the streets of London! He joins us to discuss his experience going viral, as well as his love of and connection to Cornwall.
