NEWSWAVE - All About The Activities

CHAOS Radio Season 3 Episode 8

In the latest episode, we join Kerra Hancock, Executive Director at Out of the Woods CIC, to highlight a new regular giving campaign launched to support children in Cornwall affected by Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).

We check in with Kathryn Sainsbury-Wilkes of the Henwyn Collective, who shares details of their free photography workshops, inspired by George Ellis and Bodmin’s heritage, as well as an upcoming exhibition of theirs.

As well as that, we take a trip with Our Active Community St Austell and Clay Country, to hear how the project is developing and from Emma and Craig about how their organisations — Cornwall Bicycle Project and St Austell Table Tennis Club — on how they’ve used seed funding to help make their activities even more inclusive and accessible.

If all that wasn’t enough, we hear from Rudi’s Message – a Cornish Ska and 2Tone 5-piece cover band that has been entertaining audiences for 25 years! To mark their anniversary, the band is going on tour, performing at key music venues across the Duchy starting in March.
