NEWSWAVE - Look, it's the Mayor!

In the latest episode, we join Mayor of St Austell Julian Young, to discuss his key priorities, including tackling anti-social behaviour, boosting town centre footfall and supporting local businesses.

We check in with Andy Jackson of Biscovey FC as they prepare for a variety show and a range of football tournaments to help celebrate their new clubhouse and to raise vital funds for the club.

As well as that, we take a trip to Lostwithiel Community Centre to meet manager Kirsty Mitchell, who has led a remarkable transformation over the past five years, securing grants, refurbishing spaces, and creating a new dance studio with support from Prince William no less.

If all that wasn’t enough, we hear from award-winning children’s author Julie Sykes to discuss her writing career, the success of Unicorn Academy, and her work with the St Austell Festival of Children’s Literature.
