NEWSWAVE - It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas
In the latest episode, we join nearly 800 fun runners, each clad in Christmas style fancy dress, for a charity event with a twist, all in aid of Children’s Hospice South West and their Little Harbour venue.
We check in with Tanya Williams, landlady of The Polgooth Inn since 2010, and Cornwall Chamber of Commerce CEO John Brown to get their verdict on the challenges set out by the government’s Autumn Budget.
As well as that, we take a trip to the International Food Festival for Cornwall, celebrating diverse cuisines, shared experiences, and the magic of food and music, while highlighting the work of some remarkable local organisations, including the Cornwall Refugee Resource Network and Truro Street Pastors.
If all that wasn’t enough, we hear from Nev Meek and Christine Edwards following a celebration of traditional Cornish Christmas carols from the Roseland, organized by the Federation of Old Cornwall Societies and held at Truro Cathedral.
Finally, we hear the first of a four part series coming to CHAOS Radio this Christmas, featuring words from Chris McQuillan-Wright, Priest-in-Charge for St Dennis, Roche, and Luxulyan, and Advocate Priest for Par, Charlestown, and Treverbyn.
