NEWSWAVE - In The Night Garden

CHAOS Radio Season 2 Episode 12

In the latest episode, we join Mark Sherris, Station Manager at St Austell Community Fire Station, to hear about their current campaigns and upcoming events, as well as providing advice on how to keep yourselves and your loved ones safe and well this winter.

We check in with Cornwall Banger Rally Challenge organisers Sergeant Sausage and the 118 team to hear some of the highlights from this year’s events and to tease what's coming up, including a Supermarket Sweep at our local ASDA here in St Austell.

As well as that, we take a trip to The Lost Gardens of Heligan for a behind-the-scenes tour of their eagerly anticipated Night Garden display for 2024, with Managing Director Laura Chestefield.

If all that wasn’t enough, we introduce Gunners Kids, founded in memory of Chris Gunner, a Community Interest Company designed to support families with children who are navigating the terminal diagnosis of a parent or caregiver.

Finally, for those seeking an adventure or a challenge to kick off 2025, we are joined by Jane Appleton and Megan Hampton of Cornwall Hospice Care to get all the details ahead of their upcoming Cycle France fundraiser.
