NEWSWAVE - Poets & Lovers

CHAOS Radio Season 2 Episode 10

Join our reporter Tom Howe for NEWSWAVE, your weekly rundown of the top stories happening across St Austell and surrounding areas.

In the latest episode, we join Sarah Yeoman, Communications and Media Officer at Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust, to discover ‘Sing it Home’ - an album in collaboration with Cornish musicians and community groups in aid of their ongoing HELi2 appeal.

We check in with CHAOS Art Correspondent Cathy Davis who, earlier this week, got the chance to sit down with producer Phil Grabsky to chat about the eagerly anticipated release of Van Gogh: Poets & Lovers.

As well as that, we take a trip to Truro to join in the 30th anniversary celebrations of Young People Cornwall’s iconic home in the capital, Zebs, which has supported young people aged eight to 25 through a variety of projects for more than three decades.

If all that wasn’t enough, we take a moment to talk all things marshmallows... but not just any ol’ marshmallows, we’re talking local, award-winning, homemade Cornish marshmallows, with Teagan Rowlands-Bryant of Moosh Mallows.

Finally, we are joined by former Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Swindon Town footballer Micky Hazard as we explore Legend on the Bench, a charity he has co-founded alongside his sister Michelle in memory of her son, Jay, who tragically took his own life back in 2019.
