NEWSWAVE - Episode 33

CHAOS Radio Season 1 Episode 34

Join our reporter Tom Howe for NEWSWAVE, your weekly rundown of the top stories happening across St Austell and surrounding areas.

In the latest episode, we join Emma Forrest of Girlguiding Cornwall to explore how they make a difference to the lives of young girls and their communities across nearly two hundred groups in the Duchy alone.

We check in with life member Jean Caddy on the opening day of Charlestown Regatta Week, an annual tradition that brings together the local community for some fun and fundraising.

As well as that, we take a trip to St Denys Church, where the bells are ringing once more after the community of St Dennis overwhelmingly supported an 18-month project to extensively renovate and repair them.

If all that wasn’t enough, we visit the Stithians Show with People in Mind presenter Zara Shoesmith and join a group from Cornwall preparing to climb each of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon - inside 24 hours - in aid of the PSPA.
