NEWSWAVE - Episode 29

CHAOS Radio Season 1 Episode 30

Join our reporter Tom Howe for NEWSWAVE, your weekly rundown of the top stories happening across St Austell and surrounding areas.

In the latest episode, we join 1,500 fun runners at RAF St Mawgan for a record breaking Rainbow Run that raised £100,000 towards the vital services and support offered by Children’s Hospice South West.

We check in with Tarn Lamb, Chief Executive Officer for Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change, at a Mad Hatters Tea Party held in support of Mental Health Awareness Week 2024.

As well as that, we take a trip to Newquay Orchard and their popular fayre to learn about everything they have to offer, including adult education, community volunteering and a diverse range of events.

If all that wasn’t enough, we sit down with Gemma Pople, interim CEO of Konnect Communities, to mark the community interest company’s ten years of support for individuals with complex needs, and get the latest from Gerrans and St Mawes United Football Club with Andrew Ayre.
